My 12-year-old son wanted to learn to play golf and since I don’t golf, I wasn’t in a position to teach him even the basics. But he really wanted to learn. Enter Stef to save the day. 

I worked with Stef for years and knew that he was an amazing golfer, but would he want to take on the challenge of teaching a kid the basics? Luckily for us, he did.  

Stefan is not only a good golfer but turns out, he’s also a really good teacher and coach. He’s patient and encouraging and can get anyone over the self-doubt they may have in learning something new. Within a few lessons, our son progressed from tapping a few balls in our backyard (to learn some basic form) to a nearby school’s soccer field to start getting some distance. Before we knew it, it was time to get to a driving range because 100 yards was no longer enough distance. He even brought our son to a golf course to get him on a green so he could learn the finishing touches of putting. 

Our son has since been able to join his uncles and cousins on the course and that’s been an amazing experience for him. Next step, he wants to book another lesson with Stefan. As he puts it: it’s time to step it up.
